Each week, this newsletter will bring you a curated selection of the best parties happening in and around Amsterdam, along with insider tips, new club openings, and other fun stuff I come across. Hopefully this NachtKalender will help you guide your way through the weekend.
This weekend's premier electronic music experience is more than just a party—it's a cosmic celebration. Intergalactic FM is hosting their annual festival from May 29 to June 1 Intergalactic FM Festival 2025 | Intergalactic FM™ at PIP in The Hague, bringing four days of cutting-edge underground electronic music to the Netherlands.
The experience spans multiple days with different vibes. Thursday kicks off with their traditional Meet & Greet—a free community gathering. The real action unfolds Friday and Saturday with "mad DJ and Live action" across multiple areas.
The musical journey covers "all sorts of impossible genres: from (italo)disco, all deep dark colors of synth wave, Chicago, Detroit to electro techno acid ambient hip-hop soundtracks" with one notable exception—"no trance and no jungle." The lineup features David Vunk, Intergalactic Gary and Suze Ijó alongside dozens of other artists representing the station's signature blend of underground electronic sounds.

For the final weekend of May and celebrating nearly 8 years of Spielraum, Amsterdam's forward-thinking venue Club RAUM is hosting an epic three-day finale that promises to be something truly special. All of the club's residents - plus many other exciting artists - unite for a three-day celebration to capture the authentic spirit of the party that started it all Club Raum.
What makes this celebration particularly exciting is the musical philosophy behind it. "No timetables, just pure musical spontaneity" defines the weekend's approach, allowing the music to flow naturally across genres and moments. The lineup features confirmed residents Fafi Abdel Nour, KI/KI and Mary Lake alongside the broader Spielraum family, each bringing their own distinctive sound to create an immersive sonic journey.

Fiber Festival 2025 - May 29 till June 1
From May 29 to June 1, Amsterdam transforms into a sprawling laboratory for experimental artistry as FIBER Festival marks a decade of its festival formula and the 15th anniversary of FIBER. This isn't just another festival—it's a convergence point where contemporary audiovisual art meets daring technological conversations and boundary-pushing electronic music.
The four-day program unfolds across Amsterdam's most innovative cultural venues—from the industrial atmosphere of Garage Noord to the acoustic precision of BIMHUIS, De Sering, Muziekgebouw, de Brakke Grond, the experimental 4DSound to the intimate settings of Bar San Francisco. Each location becomes part of a larger ecosystem hosting A/V performances, club nights, installation art, special sound art concerts and in-depth artist talks that highlight contemporary art practices and envision new realities.
Since its first edition in 2011 at club Trouw Amsterdam, FIBER has brought together visual culture, electronic music and club culture. Building bridges between art enthusiasts, curious newcomers, and an international community of artistic makers, critical researchers, creative coders, and visionary DJs. This anniversary edition promises to push those connections even further into uncharted creative territory.
Tune of the week
